***Upcoming Meetings****
October 2 - Mike Smith, Fayette County Auditor - presentation on the change in property tax. District VI Director, Eileen McNally will be attending the meeting.
December 4 - Installation of new officers - Banana Express - Entertainment provide by a musical group from Washington High School.
*****Committee Reports****
The Community Service -774 items of school supplies were collected for The Well at our August picnic! We received this note:
"The Will at Sunnyside thanks you so much! Thank you for your continued support on all of our programs. It is nice to always have someone we can count on."

You are also reminded to bring signed Christmas cards (Fayette County Retired Teachers) to the October meeting. We do not need the envelopes. They will be used for the Banana Express in December.
Toy and book donations for The Well will also be collected at the December meeting. They especially need items for Middle School age boys. Suggestions include: body wash/deodorant gift sets such as Swagger (made by Suave) or Fuigi (made by Old Spice), footballs, basketballs, and food gift cards.

The Scholarship We have received a lovely thank you letter from out 2014 scholarship recipient, Kaitlin Cottrill. Carolyn Shoemaker will read the letter at the October meeting.
